The Vanderbilt Department of Anesthesiology offers several programs for the focused education of the next generation of anesthesiologists, including the BH Robbins Scholars Program and the Clinical Scientist Track.
The primary goal of the BH Robbins Scholars Program is to recruit and train the next generation of academic anesthesiologists who will shape the future of our specialty. The Robbins Scholars Program provides a mentored research experience that culminates in a two-year fellowship experience (with at least one research year). The Department offers a research elective option for residents, the Clinical Scientist Track is offered as a research elective option for those residents exploring an interest in an academic career involving basic or clinical investigation.
